Story

What a great day this is going to be. Taking on the iconic 50 mile Liverpool Chester Liverpool Bike Ride, with the stunning landscapes across Liverpool, Wirral, and Chester. Starting with the unique opportunity to cross the famous Mersey, through Liverpool’s (Birkenhead) Queensway tunnel traffic free, this event will certainly be a highlight this year. An amazing guy is taking on this challenges and will be kindly directing sponsorship to Freddie’s legacy. This charity raises awareness of Neonatal care and baby loss. Supporting and raising funds for families currently on NICU and for those sadly requiring their bereavement care. People have either heard of NICU, know someone who has been there or have been on a journey themselves. Freddie’s legacy aims to make life a little kinder for those journeys. We are looking forward to sharing the updates.

Smashed the challenge!!!

6th July 2021
Wow Ray has smashed his Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool challenge for Freddie’s legacy and himself. Ray ended up cycling home racking up an additional 12.5miles and making it a grand total of 62.5miles. That’s the equivalent of Manchester Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to Alder Hey NICU and BACK AGAIN!!! This is what Ray said:- “ I am made up, I wasn't expecting to raise that much, the support has been amazing”

On the home stretch

4th July 2021
Well over the half way point now and on the home stretch. What a challenge and morning it’s been for Ray. He is absolutely smashing this challenge both for his own personal achievements and for our charity.

An intro from Ray

28th June 2021
“Several months ago I decided to make some major life changes. To date I have lost around 2 stone, significantly changed my diet and am walking several miles a day, and cycling as and when I can. To encourage me to continue on this journey, I decided to take things to the next level and to undertake a fundraising cycle ride for Freddie’s legacy. I have been training over the last few months, but even so, its going to be challenging. I very much would love your support and help to raise money for a charity close to my own heart”
